Improved Hydrocarbon Recovery, LLC, is a geological consulting firm providing reservoir characterization and modeling services and specializing in the management of multi-discipline petroleum reservoir studies. Field to basin-scale projects are aimed at improving oil and gas recovery in known accumulations by identifying and targeting under-produced portions of the reservoir, improving reservoir contact (infill drilling, horizontal drilling and/or hydraulic fracturing), or by modifying oil properties (CO2 Enhanced Oil Recovery).  Formed in 2007 and located in Lawrence, Kansas, the head of the company has 35 years mid-continent US industry and research experience.
